Moving On
I'm pleased to announce my move to Nintendo Life as a Contributor
Published on 27/06/2012

I joined Nintendo-Okie in October 2010 while on the verge of quitting journalism altogether. 3 failed site launches will do that to even the most determined writer. Little did I know that applying for that position would be the best thing I ever did, and 2 years later, I am now moving on.

It has been an incredible 2 years with the team at Nintendo-Okie and it has been a privilege to take the role of European Games Editor, a role which has led to extensive coverage of European news and events. My work there has changed my life, and I am now preparing to find employment as a journalist, something I would never have thought possible a few years ago.

Which is why the time was right to move on. I was offered a role as a Contributor at Nintendo Life, and after being a big fan of the site for so long, it was an offer too good to refuse. With the added benefits of a larger readership and a more locally based focus, Nintendo Life feels like a logical step forward.

So, as of now I wave goodbye to Nintendo-Okie and begin my new work with Nintendo Life. I'm really excited about working more closely with the team, and I hope you will all check out my work on the new site!
